Sortable Color Name Chart

Another HTML color chart? Aren't there enough of these on the web already? Well, I've never found a color chart that displays colors the way I like.

While the practice certainly is debatable, I prefer to use color names in my style sheets instead of hex codes. I'm just not a hex person (of course, I still need to see the hex codes).

This sortable chart:

Lists named colors and their associated RGB hex codes
Displays each color rendered by both name and hex code
Shows both black text and white text on each color
Fills the screen with color swatches (chips)

Hex Overload

Note that these color names are standard web colors. If you want to dislay a color not on the list, such as Emerald, you will need to use the hex code (#50C878) or maybe choose a similar color, such as MediumSeaGreen.
